iDigBio and Collaborations at Ecological Society of America 2020

iDigBio works to share and facilitate broader biocollections data use and provide access to data and computational literacy skills and knowledge needed to support FAIR and reproducible research. As part of an on-going strategy, iDigBio has participated in-some-fashion at the yearly Ecologial Society of America Conference since 2015.

American Society of Mammalogists (ASM) 2019

The 99th Annual Meeting and Centennial Celebration of the American Society of Mammalogists took place 28 June to 2 July 2019, at the birthplace of ASM, Washington, DC. iDigBio helped to mark this important milestone through organizing a session on broadening representation in mammalogy as well organizing the first ever Data Help Desk at ASM.

EntSoc 2018 Data Help Desk

Entomological collections and Ecological data repositories and data specialists will collaborate at the EntSoc 2018 meeting in Vancouver to add a Data Help Desk to the Poster/Exhibition Hall. The Entomological Collections Network (ECN), iDigBio, and the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) do this to offer their combined expertise and learn about data needs from those attending this conference.
