2021 Open Office Hours hosted by the API User Group (R-based)

This is an informal, online session where anyone is welcome to bring their questions or ideas about using tools such as the iDigBio API (Application Programming Interface) to work with biodiversity occurrence data in R. Community members of all backgrounds (collections staff, researchers, IT, etc.) and levels of programming experience (including R novice) are encouraged to use these office hours as a time to discover and discuss API data access, issues, and solutions.

Paleobiology Database to Host API Hackathon March 20-22, 2015

The Paleobiology Database Executive Committee is running a hackathon with the goal of creating exciting tools (web applications, R code, data analysis tools, data visualization tools, integration with other web databases, etc.) that use the Paleobiology Database API for research, education, or outreach.

When and where? March 20th-22nd, 2015, on the campus of UC Santa Cruz.
