Job Advertisement for iDigBio Project Assistant

 
The National Coordinating Center for Digitization of Biodiversity Collections (iDigBio), centered at the Florida Museum and funded by the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF), is managing and sustaining an integrated national infrastructure for digitization of biodiversity collections housed in U.S. institutions. iDigBio provides access to training, information, and data critical to scientific research and education, including those designed to understand biodiversity and societal consequences of global change and other environmental issues. A full-time Project Assistant will be hired to work with the Project Director, Project Manager, and other iDigBio leadership and personnel to facilitate efficient and effective completion of project goals and objectives. The Project Assistant will be responsible for: organization and logistics of workshops and working groups; coordination of meetings with review boards and committees; assisting with preparations for annual reports and site reviews; and performing other relevant tasks as requested by the project leadership team.
